Raw house ... just the way I love it

When WotNot was still a twinkle in electronic music's eye, Danny Clark was already producing house classics. 2008's Wondrous featuring gospel legend Susu Bobien, with remixes from the mighty AFTC, David Penn and DJ Spen & The Muthafunkaz, has featured on compilations all over the world. Following this, releases from his label Solid Ground Recordings regularly featured in bestsellers lists (13 out of 14 hit Traxsource's top ten). Danny had established himself as a man with a great ear and plenty of talent.

In 2012, feeling uninspired by the sounds and scenes around him, Danny sold Solid Ground and went back to his MPC origins, searching for a new style to reignite his passion for dance music. The fun came straight back and, hours and hours of samples later, this multi-layered form of gritty, rolling house came to be. With any four-bar loop containing up to 30 different samples, this EP is raw yet refined; unrestrained yet carefully structured; deeply entrenched in classic house roots yet forward looking.
