WotElse x JD Wilder - Quiet Lights
WotElse is a new artist-led project from the “wildly creative” minds behind WotNot Music - described by DJ Mag in those very terms and hailed by BBC 6 Music as “at the forefront of the UK’s IDM and electronic scene.” A collaboration between the label and its TV-oriented WotNot Music Library, WotElse occupies the fertile ground between the artistic and the accessible, collaborating with artists whose work fuses innovation with emotional resonance. Its sound is electronic-adjacent: organic textures manipulated like machines, electronic gestures performed with human touch - music that feels both engineered and alive.
Our first release is JD Wilder’s Quiet Lights, a collection of beautiful jazz-inflected solo piano pieces with a dusting of subtle electronics.
